I stood on the balcony of my new family's old mansion. The sun was just vaguely still showing its face above the majestic Romanian mountains. I felt the cool breeze blow across my face and smell the various fragrences of the wilderness. Diffrent scents filled my nostrils and stirred some very estatic emotions inside me. I could smell a family of deer hiding in the underbrush that were just now beginning to wake. Their hearts began to speed up as their consciousness became more aware of their surroundings. I imagined myself running through the woods at full speed. My bare feet barely even touching the ground as if I was weightless. As I approached my prey, I would gradually slow to a stop and hide beneath the thickets. I would watch them closely until I caught one alone. A stray that was a loner and would not be missed. However, it had to be healthy enough. Ah... I could smell that wonderous life blood steadily begin to pump faster as the deer catches wind of my presence. It darts into the woods when I take a step forward. I smile and lick my fangs hungrily as I catch up with the frightened animal. Well, I wasn't always like this. I shook myself out of my reverie and try to reestablish my sanity. I once was human believe it or not. Sometimes I find it hard to get a firm footing on what I can call humane and what I can call animalistic. even some of my fellow brethern think that I am a little abnormal in what is right and what is wrong. I don't care what they think, though. Everyone has their own personal opinion. Even vampire fledglings like me.
I was turned four years ago last October when I least expected it. All I can ever remember about my turning was just a faint memory of trees and cold ground all around me.
I am getting this written...very...slowly...
